ABOUT BROOKLYN MUSIC WEEK

Brooklyn Music Week aims to highlight Brooklyn’s historical impact on the music industry and its relation to society. This five-day extravaganza will be complete with live performances, an art expo, a fashion show, parties, panels and other festivities celebrating Brooklyn’s robust cultural influence.

Brooklyn Music Week 2020 kicks off during the height of summer, between staple Brooklyn events, such as the Afropunk Festival and the Labor Day Parade that bring in over 1.2 million revelers each year.

Each day of BKMW will have programming geared towards that day’s theme. The 2020 themes are Music & Multimedia, Music & Fashion, Music & Social Justice, Music & Dance, and Creating The Music.
